Voyageur Project
Thanks are due to our generous sponsors who have been really helpful in many ways, from supplying materials to building our trailer to donating of money! Our students have also run fundraisers which have brought in about $5000 towards the Voyageur Project for building materials and to fund the trips planned.

Hillsborough River Association

We have had our boat out on the Hillsborough River above Mt. Stewart to train, film the Eau Canada video and to participate in the Associations Paddle Fest on June 10th. Thanks to the Association for their donation of $500.00 and to Glen Kelly as well as Dan McAskill for all the work on events!

Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty

We were invited to bring our canoe to a breakfast meeting of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty where we had a chance to talk about the project, show off the work and answer questions. They followed up with a donation of $500.00 to help us out!

DME worked with us to design a trailer for our two voyageur canoes, supplied the steel, and then they built this beautiful unit for us! Thank you Peter, Mark, Rodney and everyone!

Through Team Depot, and donation from a Home Depot wood supplier, Porcupine Lumber, we received the cedar for the first canoe plus a variety of materials like glue and tools for the build.
